Cargo Liability

Companies providing freight services by sea, road, air, rail or river for their customer’s cargo are covered under this section for:

• Physical loss of or physical damage to cargo whilst in their care, custody and control.
• Consequential loss arising out of the loss or damage mentioned above.
• The cargo’s contribution to general average and salvage which is unrecoverable from a customer, agent or sub-contractor.

Third Party Legal Liability

Cover is provided in the event of a company, in the course of providing their professional services, becoming liable to a third party with whom they do not have a contractual relationship. This includes:

• Bodily injury to a third party
• Physical loss or physical damage to third party property
• Consequential loss suffered by a third party as a result of bodily injury, physical loss or physical damage to property

Claims Expenses

Cover is provided for expenses incurred in investigating, defending or mitigating a claim.

This extension provides cover for the negligent performance of a company’s professional duty of care.

Fines and duties liability Insurance

This extension provides cover for unintentional breach of any regulation, legal or statutory provision which results in the company receiving a fine or other form of penalty.
